[DVBC] Bad News from Jersey

Tom,
The reason NJ can't afford their state obligations is the thieving
politicians spent the money. If you want a project or a system to be
screwed up, allow your local, state or federal government to run it! If
you do, you will be guaranteed to be over budget, cost much more then
the private sector could run it, and have the worst service possible.
Think of EZPass, or the DRPA who can't even afford to perform needed
repairs to the Delaware Bridges while giving away 10's of millions of
dollars to Pennsylvania and NJ organizations not associated with
bridges.
PS: Never have high expectations when dealing with government and you
will never be disappointed!!!

This is terrible news. NJ is the wealthyest state per capita. How can
they not have funding for their state parks. Parvin is a beautiful park
and the site of a couple of annual triathlons. Do we have access to any
e-mail addresses for the appropriate NJ pols. This is also the state
that is trying to ban the sale of bikes with quick release wheels. Tom
P.S. please excuse my spelling errors, I can't even spell Smyth right!
