>Gina and I rode 50 miles today from RCSP to North Brook and beyond. We
ran into my friend in advocacy, Ray Sachs, who was the Chester County
bike planner before he went into business for himself. He explained that
he was involved in working out the details for the subdivision of the
Northbrook farmland that became developed (as a CHESCO Planner). He
thinks that the reason Northbrook is still closed is because it is
probably for sale: either as a working business or, most likely, to be
sold to a developer to make more McMansions. If he is right, that's bad
news.
Gina and I rode a long way with Ray and he finally left us at Miner St.
and we later ran into Rich and Glenn on Brinton's Bridge Road. Rich is in
fine shape for continuing his efforts to compete in the Senior Olympics.
It turned out to be a beautiful day to ride. We saw Charlie sitting at a
picnic table when we returned to RCSP.
