[DVBC] ride routes

My few cents: I agree about trying to centralize this kind of info on our own site rather than on a third party site.
New and prospective members/riders are less likely to want to visit an external site such as bikely, since they aren't familiar with what it is and how it works. Double whammy if they're new to cycling and the web community.
A good way to leverage these useful online tools may be to use Bikely (or similar) to produce the cue sheet, but save a printable version on our website so that our own repository grows. And we can link our ride announcements to the cue sheet library.
In support of the good ideas Drew has been putting forth, I would like to say that dropping barriers to new members should be on our minds with *all* of our initiatives. If you're not in the club, and you're not a long time rider, a lot of the ways we say things and do things can appear exclusionary. Not to be overly dramatic, but the continued life of the club will depend on the continual additions to membership and ridership. We have to encourage that -- not only while we're out on the roads, but before our new riders even decide to come out with us.
