[DVBC] CRC CREEK CLEANUP

I'm sorry to report that only one DVBC member has volunteered to help out with the creek cleanup that is next Saturday May 3rd. from 9 to 11:45. Anyone one else out there willing to do some good?

It's that time of year when DVBC sends some caring people to help clean up the watershed in the areas that we ride. As in the past we will tackle the pickup at Gradyville and Bishop hollow where car access is difficult. We ride to the site on bikes from Rose Tree Park on Saturday May 3rd. at 9:00 AM  then return to RTP for Free lunch and Tee shirts.

Each year that I have led this project the amount of trash in the area seems to decrease attesting to our impact. Reducing the debris in and around the waterways protects the aquatic environs by preventing polluting runoff. It's less than three hours of work for a worthy cause so I hope some of our new members will come out.
