Dear Debbie,

Hi! I'd like to invite your membership to a bike ride which will change
the lives of children with HIV/AIDS. I do hope you will spread the word
about this event and that you, too, will participate!

Individuals and biking teams are invited to be a part of 2008 Climb Up So
<http://www.climbupsokidscangrowup.com> Kids Can Grow Up which takes
place worldwide on September 20 and/or 21, 2008. The event is hosted by
the American Foundation for Children with AIDS (a non-profit organization
which sends free medicine to children with AIDS in Africa) and the
American Alpine Institute to give children hope and life.

We are looking for 10 biking teams (small or large) to be a part of this
event. Each team raises $5000 for our programs, which sounds enormous,
but it really isn't. If you have 10 people in a team, that is only $500
per person...very doable! If a team starts fundraising soon, there is
plenty of time to reach your goals. We provide all sorts of tips on how to
fundraise the money on our website
(http://www.climbupsokidscangrowup.com/frideas.html).

Individuals are also invited to be a part of our event. There are
different fundraising goals for individuals, depending on a biker's desire
to fundraise. $115, $205 or $380 are the suggested target goals for
individuals, representing 3, 6, or 12 months of life-saving medicine for
an HIV+ child.

While there is no deadline to register, it is best to register soon so you
can send us the specific information we need from each team and/or
individual so we can create a page for you on our website.

There are great gifts to be received for the person who raises the most
funds, with wonderful gifts for follow ups, too!

All this to say that we'd like to challenge you and any bikers you know
who'd be interested in taking up this project. If anyone is interested,
please email us at info at helpchildrenwithaids.org for more information or
register at www.ClimbUpSoKidsCanGrowUp.com.

Thank you for letting your membership know about this opportunity so they
may have fun while serving others.

Tanya
