[DVBC] Other DVBC riders

The hard part is neither up, down, nor flat. The hard part is buying the right parts without spending hundreds of dollars! I am looking into a slightly bigger cog in back, but I want to wait till I know what crank I have in front... the one I have is basically garbage and has to go.

In the meantime, I'm alright building strength rather than cadence and form.

Jon, I gotta agree with Tom. That gear is great for the track, but not for the road. The whole idea of fixed gear is to work on your spin and foot speed, not strength. I never run anything bigger than a 39x17 when on the road. The hard part is downhill, not uphill

46X15? Mr. Olympia would have trouble pushing that gear. I don't understand how people run 42x16. I run a 40x16 and I'm out of the saddle on minor climbs. Good luck with the Peugeot Jon. Bring it out 4 the next KK ride. Tom
