[DVBC] Saturday AHCS Ride Report

Yeah baby!   Seven of us braved the cold and did the posted 15 miles of
AHCS hills today.  First AHCS ride in 2008 inducted newbies Maureen, Dave
Hartrum, and Rookie of the Year 2007 Mary Huis.  Also on the ride were
Misty, Steve Rothrock, Dan and myself.  We rode, we climbed, we warmed up
and we conquered all of the usual tough hills.  We also scouted a MONSTER
we plan on attacking in the future.  Afterwards we went to Memories Grill
for breakfast.  Dave rode from home to the start and rode back home after
breakfast.  He figures he probably got in 40 miles today--not a wimp! 
Only the strong survive.  Don't complain to us about having no legs later
on Jake and Frank--are wimps!  Mary couldn't believe you guys didn't show.
And Tony, it wasn't that cold.

I have to say that I'm glad we got out there and rode.  Good idea Dan!  It
was fun.  Hills do make you stronger!

That's my greasy, grimy, road dirt and I'm sticking to it!
