Thank you for attending the meeting and keeping us in the loop. Your news
reflects a sea change in the course of the debate. I thought that there
was overwhelming support in Upper Providence for improvement of bike/ped
facilities and that the issues the opposition addressed were well
addressed at previous meetings. Mis -information has ruled the day. The
concerns you have mentioned are the typical ones frequently brought up by
opposition in addressing changes in municipal infrastructures to enhance
walking and cycling. Some of us remember those ugly meetings for the
Chester Creek Rail Trail. We will reply to those concerns in due course.
We are the Delaware County Cycling Committee of the Bicycle Coalition of
Greater Philadelphia. If any of you are interested in joining us, we have

I attended the Upper Providence Township Council meeting tonight. It was
