[DVBC] Ride Report Last Night's Back B4 Sunset Ride

Nine signed in for the ride--Mary, Alex, Rich, Tom S., Mike D., Jack C.,
Peter S., Maureen S., and Evan ?.  It was good to see Peter out on his first
ride since his accident in the fall. Just before a delayed start, Tom S. had
a blowout that sounded like a gun going off so he went home.  We lost Rich
at the intersection of Rose Tree & 252.  I later found out that he forgot
his waterbottles, got them and headed out and joined Dom's ride.  Peter hung
with us through RCSP where he left us so he could get back on time to do a
local radio show.  The rest of us continued on but Mary and Alex chose to do
their own pace.  This meant we were now down to 4 riders and myself.  It was
chilly for sure and we headed up Dilworthtown, down Clayburn, then out to
Westown School where we took a breather, chatted some, and still got back in
plenty of time to "B Back B4 Sunset".  Did I mention that one of my riders
almost bought the farm making a left turn barely missing a truck?  Guess
I've got to go over some safe cycling rules again.  On the way back we did
pass Mary, Alex and another rider they picked up Bob, on Sycamore Mills.
Total miles 26.8.  Average speed 15.0.  Looking forward to next week and
hopefully everyone who's there at the 6:00 start finishes with me.  That
would be way cool!

Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
