[DVBC] Ride Report--Last Night's Back B4 Sunset

Tweleve of us (Paul D., Cindy M., Alex M., Peter S., Rich A., Mike M., Tom
S., Patty S., Sue & Mike L, Evan M., & me) had a great 27 mile ride last
night.  We headed out the usual way through RCSP and had to turn around on
Sycamore Mills in the park and go up Forge because of a downed tree.  Dom's
C ride was coming in as we were back tracking and boy oh boy did the steep
hill on Forge break all the riders apart.  My ride headed out towards horse
country on the other side of Route 3 and we did a backwards Bonkers.  We
went down Dutton Mill instead of coming up it which was fun but of course we
hit tons of other hills out there.  The weather was perfect and we didn't
see much traffic.  Jon D. caught up with us out there and then Rich got
ahead of us and we lost him.  On the way back  we took Delchester across Rt
3 then Gradyville to 352 to RCSP and down Forge again.  Cindy, Sue and Mike
decided to take Gradyville to 252 back to RTP.  My group beat them by a
bit.  Back at the parking lot I found a note on my windshield from Rich
explaining how he got ahead, turned around, but we were gone.  Glad he knew
the way back.  Hopefully that downed tree in RCSP will be gone by today.  It
was good to see Cindy, Paul, and Sue out on a ride.  Well, that's last
night's story .  .  .  sticking to it.
