[DVBC] Wednesday RTP B & C Ride Reports

At 5:15 it was pouring in Aston so I figured I show up at RTP, nobody would
be there and I'd head home.  Not!  Got to Media and roads were dry although
temps were chilly and alas I saw bikes in the parking lot.   No night off
for me.  I was joined by Tony F., Alex M., Mike M., Jack C., Steve F., Peter
S., and a special guest appearance by Dom since none of his C riders
showed.  We had a good ride at a nice pace and have lots of good
conversation and the usual suspects hammered at the usual places.  Alex
chose to go back to RTP instead of doing the extra loop we did out to
Westown School.  We got in some decent hills, I mixed up the route to keep
it interesting, and we got back before dark although Steve went looking for
Dom at the end because we thought Dom was behind us.  However, Dom took a
shortcut on Sycamore Mills up the rollers instead of going through the
neighborhood with us and was actually ahead of us.  Steve got in a little
extra mileage but Dom went out in his car and retrieved him.  Alls well that
ends well and I'm glad we went out instead of letting those earlier showers
scare us off although it was a chilly night.  That's tonight's story,
sticking to it.
