Deb,
Last year's fiasco with rain and cold temperatures sure put a damper on the
ride, so this year I am scheduling warm and dry weather for this ride. BTW
everyone looked great wearing their 7/11 plastic bags.

When I first read Doug's message about this ride I thought I'd be missing it
since I didn't request a vacation day for July 5th. Then I looked at the
calendar and realized it's a Saturday! Way cool, this year we get a 3 day
weekend for 4th of July. Guess I'll have to consider if I should post my
Firecracker Fifty-Five ride for the 4th since we'll be doing a century on
the 5th. Count me in Doug but be warned, if I see any chance whatsoever of
rain, I'm out! After last year's fiasco where I started the ride thinking
the temp was going to be 87 and only wore shorts and a sleeveless top and
had to get a plastic bag to wear at the 7/11, I'm playing it safe.
