Drew
I think you mean 'bad band', but probably using 'bad' in the good sense as in "Those were some bad cats playing at the DVBC B'wine Tour". Right?

And speaking of unedited emails, did anybody read Eric's recent post? Is that supposed to be pig latin or something?

  Lord Admiral D'Stre,

Thanks for the update. We didn't have anyone stationed there this year. Len found that the arrows turning off Springdell were painted over and positioned himself there. There was also some bad gravel on that turn, so he did double duty. I know one rider slipped on the gravel, though it didn't look too severe. Not sure if anyone caught a tire on the bridge but I'll get a fuller update tomorrow at the board meeting.

Thanks for taking on that new assignment. Having a bad at the end of the ride is really, really cool.

  Drew

    Hey Drew,

How did we make out on the bridge? Did you have a DVBC Navy officer
stationed there? Has it been fixed? I completely forgot about it what
with my new assignment this year. I rode with Gina today to Northbrook
and while riding with Ira and Don, we had a sighting of Fast Eddie hiking
down Sweetwater with backpack and ski poles. We met up with Eric and
watched a couple of pelotons ride through at Tanguy and Creek Roads.
I had a delicious Beef Briskit sandwich (with horseradish) at Northbrook
and told the chefs how much we appreciate their taking over that business.
THey let me know how much he appreciates the loyalty of the bikers. On
our way home, we again watched several pelotons go by at Thornberry and
Cheyney roads. Hooray for the folks in Westchester for bringing racing to
our area. (the course they used was the same one we used to use for a
period of time for DVBC time trials until the cops kicked us out) The tar
and chip seems to have finally packed down.

    Davy Sprockett, DVBC Marine Band
